Where should we go Wednesday?

I have had Maine on my bucket list for a while now.  When I was  researching places in Maine I immediately thought of Portland because thats the city people most talk about.  However I knew immediately that I wanted to visit Acadia National Park and saw that Bar Harbor was super close.

Choose experiences over exhaustion

Traveling as we have gotten older looks a little different. In our 20's it was like a mad rush to try and see as many things as we possibly could. Or our destinations looked a little different. However now we operate at a little slower pace, and we are choosing experiences over exhaustion.🍷🍪🍽A couple of examples of this could be a wine tasting or food tour where you are connecting with locals.🏖Another option could be relaxing at a beach or pool with a rented cabana or a hammock.🛳🛥Last example would be a river cruise or renting a boat for the day.

Welcome to my Simple Escapes page.
