New adventures

When your middle age approaches, and you are at the point that your kids are pretty self sufficient something changes in you.  The desire to be a little different.  At least for me it did.  I needed a change.  

I wasn't really sure what was happening,  the point when I started to feel unsettled and restless.  I knew that I needed something for myself.  I needed something that I could do.  I knew that I didnt want to be in the workforce full time because that didnt allow us to travel if we wanted.  Or still be there for my adult children if they wanted me to.  

I started thinking about what to do.  I tried to get involved in the schools, but then COVID happened and things in education  changed.  I decided that I needed to do something different.  After that I started watching a couple of kids and I did that for several years. Then I decided that I wanted to try something else.  I didnt feel like I was where I wanted to be.

 Then I came across being a travel agent, and I could build and run my own business.  The thought intrigued me.  I didnt a bit of research and talked to my niece about it. (she was doing the same thing).  I decided to take a chance. 

  That became the beginning of Simple Escapes.  I havent been doing this for long, but what I can tell you so far is its exciting , and theres never a dull moment.
