Welcome to my Simple Escapes page. My name is Melissa and I have just started my own travel blog. I'm geared towards for the middle-aged crowd. I just turned 52 and I am a previous stay at home and my children have hit the point where they don't need me/us anymore. I have a 21-yr old and a 17-yr old who is a senior in high school.
Since this is the season of life we are in, my husband and I have thought what now? What do we want to do now? We are somewhat foodies. My husband is a wing man. He loves himself some chicken wings. I love to take little escapes to get away and try new things. Needless to say, this is what the blog will be about. Our Simple Escapes and probably our big escapes too.
